Scholarships
The Association of Italian-Canadian jurists of Québec (AICJQ) is a non-profit organization established in 2003 whose members are composed of Judges, Lawyers, Notaries, jurists, law professors and law students of Canadian Italian origin.
Committed to the advancement of legal education AICJQ is pleased to award four (4) annual scholarships to outstanding law students of Canadian Italian origin, who are distinguished by their academic excellence.
Description of the scholarships
(1) One scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00 will be awarded to a student enrolled at the Chambre des Notaires during the application period, who must provide their academic results of the 3rd year Law School

(1) One scholarship in the amount of $1,500.00 will be awarded to a student enrolled in a Faculty of Law, in thier 2nd year Law School during the application period, who must provide their academic results of the previous year

(1) One scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00 will be awarded to a student enrolled at the Barreau du Québec during the application period, who must provide their academic results of the 3rd year Law School

(1) One scholarship in the amount of $1,500.00 will be awarded to a student enrolled in a Faculty of Law, in thier 3rd year Law School during the application period, who must provide their academic results of the previous year

Eligibility criteria
Be a full-time student at a Law Faculty, Barreau du Québec or Chambre des Notaires;
Submit the required academic transcripts
Provide a letter of reference of community involvement
Submit your CV and personal coordinates
Never been a recipient of a scholarship awarded by the AICJQ
Submit your application within the prescribed delay
Be present at the awards ceremony to receive the bursary
Be of Italian Canadian origin and present a letter of motivation including a short introduction of your Canadian Italian heritage and elements to support your candidacy
Application period and modalities
Notwithstanding what is mentionned in the application form, theapplication must be received before May 20th, 2024.
